Hello!

And welcome to Evolving And Revolving, a set of resources for Planets 4.

This site is geared towards expert guides for Planets 4 - including guides for races, strategy and tactics - it’s not really meant as a beginners guide.  However, there are a few articles for players who have come from VGAP 3 and wish to convert to Planets 4, these articles also contain links to various other sites that are more geared towards beginners.

This site is run by me, Tim Hague.  My Planets 4 handle is Shard, which is the identity which I use to post on here and elsewhere (my details on Drewhead’s, my wiki page).  

I freely invite guest contributors to add articles to this site - if you have an article or race guide you would like to add here then please contact me, I can add you as an editor and you’ll be able to edit and maintain your own articles.  If you want to know more about the site or how to join as an editor, then there’s a full set of details in the About page.  You can contact me via email: hague.tim@gmail.com.

Getting Started

This Welcome page is all about getting you to whatever you’re looking for as quickly as possible.

The articles on this site all have one or more categories associated with them - for example if you’re looking for articles on general strategy then there’s a category for that.

The articles are also tagged - you can see the tag cloud on the right side of every page.

You can browse all the articles (using either the categories or tags) using the Archives page.

There’s also a search function at the top right hand corner, which you can use from anywhere to search all the articles.

Comments

All the articles allow comments to be added - for feedback on the article content and other suggestions or ideas you think could be included.

Your first comment will be moderated (to stop spam bots) after that you should be able to comment freely.  I particularly welcome feedback on articles that are out of date or just plain wrong!
